An engineering team wouldn't be complete without the resident godlike DoTA player. With the SparkLab Innovation Center team, it's Joemer aka "qq" on Steam.

Aside from the national pastime, Joemer is also dominating as a fifth year BS Electronics Engineering student at Colegio de San Juan de Letran (Hi Erick!). He's also a basketball player, and One Piece fan. That's triple kill, bro!

When he's not online on Steam, he's on an academic rampage at Letran Academic Achivers' Guild, Letran Engineering Society, IECEP - Manila Student Chapter.

ENGINEER

Our team needs someone who can make things work. Preferably a BS ECE or Industrial Design graduate with an eye for product development, we require that fresh infusion that is willing to work hard in the startup industry. Willing to hustle in a startup environment. Must have creative and agile engineering skills, with a desire to get things done. Must be articulate and ready to work with a team.

COMMUNITY MAKER

Description and Responsibilities:

The community maker will be responsible to make sure that makers and startups will have an inspiring and wonderful experience in Sparklab. He/she will support day-to-day operations, administrative work, marketing and project management requirements. He/she will also be heavily involved in marketing, digital marketing, social media, and growth hacking for SparkLab.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall customer experience in Sparklab
  • Responsible for marketing–¬†digital marketing, social media, and growth hacking for SparkLab.
  • Responsible for marketing–¬†digital marketing, social media, and growth hacking for SparkLab.
  • Support day-to-day operations through project management and administrative work
  • Collaborate closely with the whole Sparklab on projects, campaigns and strategies
  • Prioritize and optimize growth channels and creating viral growth

Qualifications:

  • Eagerness to learn and a curious disposition in marketing, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and in the maker movement
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in business development, marketing, account management, client acquisition, or product management
  • Experience in brand marketing and growth hacking for both B2C and B2B facing products
  • Self-starter with a¬†‚Äúmove fast and get stuff done‚ÄĚ attitude¬†that is comfortable working as part of a small team
  • Strong attention to detail with¬†really good¬†organising¬†skills
  • Ability/desire to work really quickly and really aggressively
  • Someone who demonstrates creative thinking and devises unique ‚Äúhacks‚ÄĚ to drive growth and generate buzz

Growth Hacker/Business Development Officer

Description and Responsibilities:

A growth hacker has an¬†entrepreneurial DNA¬†who¬†is a cross-functional, multi-tasking, passionate and self-driven person. This individual will focus on the growth of SparkLab’s business through sales and marketing, account management and community management but also on retention by assuring that our offerings fit the market requirements and opportunity. In order to do so, a growth hacker will use marketing channels, data analytics, users‚Äô feedback,¬†project management,¬†prioritization,¬†optimisation¬† system and structure automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving sustainable growth for Sparklab’s business
  • Proactively seek, identify and evaluate innovative opportunities
  • Present and manage innovative and technology driven solutions to institutions, companies and marketing agencies
  • Collaborate closely with the whole Sparklab on projects, campaigns and strategies
  • Prioritize and optimize growth channels and creating viral growth
