A new creative lab opened its doors to the public this December at the heart of Teacher’s Village, Quezon City. Aimed at boosting the competency of the nation’s maker community, the SparkLab Innovation Center provides tools for advanced product prototyping and playful experimentation to would-be innovators and inventors.
Sparklab Innovation Center, a newly opened comaking hub in Teacher’s Village, Quezon City, aspires to spark that desire to bring out and develop innovative ideas and creations among young Filipino innovators and inventors through its “innovation center.”
But more than anything else, SparkLab is a maker’s space equipped with state-of the-art machines and tools that anyone can use to build, craft, and create anything from a technological invention to a piece of art.
The Philippines is a source of creative talent and SparkLab aims to spread opportunities by building a center that has all the tools for 3D printing, fabric weaving, carpentry, engineering, and so much more that people may find useful in the growth and development of their ideas.
